Atheists Sue to Remove Cross From Ground Zero The Cross – two intersecting steel beams found in the wreckage of the World Trade Center by rescue workers two days after 9/11 – is a symbol of hope for so many people. 100 Pastors Proclaim Homosexuality is not a sin

A group of Omaha pastors has issued a proclamation that states
homosexuality is not a sin.
More than 100 ordained Christian ministers have signed the
proclamation, including leaders from Lutheran, Episcopalian,
United Church of Christ, United Methodist, and Presbyterian
churches.
David Bydalek is executive director of Family First, the family policy council for the state of Nebraska. He deems this effort troubling for many Nebraskans and contends the ministers involved are from liberal denominations that do not respect the orthodox biblical teaching on homosexuality. "When they come out with this sort of statement, I think they really do not reflect the mainstream feeling in the state of Nebraska," Bydalek suggests. "When we passed our marriage amendment years ago, we had about 70 percent of those in Nebraska who opposed 'gay marriage.'" But when Christians take a stand to support traditional biblical teaching on the issue, the Family First executive director laments that they are often perceived as "bigots" or "homophobes." He suggests, however, that the loving response to those trapped in homosexuality teaches that the lifestyle is indeed sinful, but that freedom can be found through Christ. "It's going to be more difficult, the more these…activists [gain] inroads into our culture and the more common it becomes," Bydalek warns. "So we have a very difficult task ahead of us as those who stand for truth." Meanwhile, creators of the proclamation argue the document displays full acceptance of lesbian, "gay," bisexual and transgender people. NY Times & Gay Activists Attack Chick-fil-A It isn't going to stop folks until people of values and faith rise in one accord with a loud unified voice and millions of votes stop it. We need are spiritual leaders to step up to the plate and lead the charge. Read the article. http://www.nationalreview.com/articles/258646/christian-business-left-s-crosshairs-michelle-malkin

We the People in California Get Stiffed Once Again We the people of California have voted twice to keep marriage between one man and one woman. We even voted to amend our state constitution to support it. Regardless, the gay activists with the help of the ACLU and their allies and the activists judges they have in their pocket snubbed the will of the people. However, the pro family values people cannot give up the fight.
Attack in Texas Turned to Victory This is what can happen when good people do something and take a stance for God and righteousness. It wasn't just the valedictorian Angela Hildenbrand that took a stance. It was also the school district, the state AG, the Governor, Senator John Cornyn and lots of people. God bless Texas! http://www.citizenlink.com/2011/06/06/prayer-steals-the-show-at-texas-graduation/
Just a Sampling of the Weekly Attacks
USA Military Burning Bibles http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ErzxOz3Dzv8&feature=player_embedded Noticed that every time anyone in that video mentioned the Koran, they said holy Koran. However, they never used the word holy with the Bible. Also, how is it the military can confiscate private property, especially Bibles, and destroy then at will rather than send them back to where they came from? It is a disturbing contrast from how our military is instructed how to handle the Koran. While we don’t endorse the burning of any religious book, it is appalling that our government and many commentators and even religious leaders were so indignant and judgmental towards the pastor that burned only one Koran, but showed no real outrage towards the Muslims killing innocent Americans for the burning of one Koran by one man. The same people and leaders didn’t blink an eye regarding the burning of Bibles in this video nor the weekly attacks against Christianity and religious freedoms. Below are some of the common happenings in America that go un-noticed or without much attention, even by Christians and Jews. We have allowed ourselves to be desensitized by the common, almost every day, offensive, slanderous demonstrations, and insults against us and our God. What is it going to take people for us to get just a little outraged that we might just do something a little radical, like act like true citizens and get seriously engaged in our political system to reclaim this country for God?
